SB series multi-turn gear operating mechanism
This series of gear operating mechanisms are made of cast steel, and the available materials are gray iron, bronze and ductile iron. Nuts can be used for installation on the valve stem. This series is applicable to linear motion valves with single-stage speed ratios ranging from 2.3:1 to 71.1:1 and torque from 220NM to 13,500 Nm, including gate valves and globe valves.
Installation and operation instructions
Connect the lower flange of the gear operating mechanism to the upper flange of the valve, and slide the valve shaft into the drive nut. Tighten the flange bolts. Turning the handwheel clockwise will close the valve, while turning it counterclockwise will open it.
